President Donald Trump has confirmed that he’ll be visiting Apple’s Mac Pro factory in Austin Texas this Wednesday.
Apple’s Mac Pro has very little part in Apple’s revenues but the company has been wanting to invest in the US for quite some time now. Apple has increased the job footprint in the US to 2.4 million people since Trump took office.
Apple has been working to make Trump administration to wave tariffs on products imported from China. Although the components for Mac Pro production have already been exempted from import duties.
It was rumored that Apple will shift the Mac Pro production to China after they struck a deal with Quanta but Apple later announced that it won’t be moving the facility due to its commitment for US economic growth.
Donald Trump is visiting Apple’s factory in Texas, let’s see if it helps Apple’s campaign against the tariffs.
